THE "WHO" IN WHAT I DO
Queer Folx
All identities are welcome! I'm a queer person, and my experiences give me a real sense of what it's like to face the challenges that come with being LGBTQIA+ in a mostly straight, cisgender world. I enjoy working with everyone to explore identity, relationships, and family stuff, while also recognizing how stigma and discrimination can really affect these parts of life. I'm all about feeling safe and seen as your whole, true self without any judgment.
Neurodiversity
I work with neurodiverse individuals, including those who are autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive, or just wired differently when it comes to feeling, thinking, and seeing the world. Our brains shape how we go through life, and neurodiversity comes with its own set of strengths and challenges. Having Big Feelings™️ can be a double-edged sword, but we can learn to handle those feelings in a way that helps us get through struggles instead of making things harder.
Teens
Teen years can be pretty weird, with so many big changes and lessons coming at you fast. Teens deal with school stress, conflict with friends, crazy hormones, and figuring out who they are—all of which can really affect their mental health. My goal is to create a supportive, chill space where teens feel listened to, can grow their confidence, and learn ways to understand themselves better and handle life’s ups and downs.
Self Harm and Suicidality
I support anyone dealing with self-harm or suicidal thoughts. Emotional pain can be profoundly impactful. Sometimes there is a sense of numbness and disconnection, and other times intensely overwhelming. When it overtakes us, it can lead to extremes that threaten our well-being. Your safety comes first as we work on coping skills and find hope and support. I want to create a judgment-free space where you feel okay being totally honest about what you're going through so we can figure out how to handle the pain together.
Identity and Self Esteem
I help clients figure out who they really are and sort through the internal and external stuff that affects how they see themselves. Being secure in yourself means finding acceptance of all parts of yourself and truly believing that you are inherently worthy of love. Together, we work on understanding who you are at your core and learning how to show up in the world as your authentic self. We can build self-compassion, boost confidence and assuredness, and create a deeper sense of connection and belonging in your life.
Developing Vulnerability
A lot of people find it hard to feel emotionally safe enough to really be seen. We often don’t trust ourselves or others to understand and accept the parts of us that aren’t so perfect. But opening up is what helps us connect with others; it brings us closer and makes life more fulfilling. We can practice honest self-expression and build the vulnerability needed for real relationships and emotional growth. I create a space without judgment, where you feel safe to explore and take your time letting others in.
